includes some promotional materials and you will be invited to have a meeting
with one of our team to discuss your own unique position and to draw on our
experiences. Selling is a small part of running your own training business
but only once you have the initial customers. We want you to build a business
with long term relationships. In the training business once you work with
someone you are often retained over a period of years. You need only a few
clients to sustain your business Yes. There is no credibility issue with the trainer and the
sales person being the same person. In fact it is a benefit. Employers very
often want the sales person to be the person who carries out the training, they
want to know you fully understand their needs. Not usually as this is not a high pressure sales business. You
need to know your materials and how they can be adapted to meet the needs of the
employer you are working with. Understanding your business will be more
influential than any selling techniques. The Institute of Leadership & Management was formed in 2002 by
the merging of NEBSM (National Examining Board Supervisory Management) and the
ISM (Institute for Supervision and Management). The ILM is part of the City &
Guilds group. You can call on other suitable trainers. We have Associates
with great experience who will be happy to assist. Once you have paid for your package then you get a 1:1 meeting with one of our team to discuss and 3 hours of on-line or telephone support time. That is all. However you are required to pay a fee for every additional trainer using our materials.
